The son of a homebuilder, Austin, Texas-based painter and sculptor Paul Meyer developed an early fascination with construction and materials. Today, he works with cement, mortar, wood, and mixed media to elevate and texturize his paintings, exploring the interplay between structure and artistic expression. His work has been featured in publications such as The New York Times, Architectural Digest, and Elle Decor, reflecting broad recognition of his distinctive approach. Handmade in Austin, Texas, his pieces embody a tactile, material-driven aesthetic that bridges fine art and craft.
